BOMA International elects Scott Bennion as Vice Chair of the Nominating Committee
BOMA Utah’s President, Scott Bennion of Riverpark Development was elected as Vice Chair of BOMA International’s Nominating Committee. The Committee is responsible to identify, encourage and select candidates for Officer and Executive Committee of the Board of Governors positions, as specified in the BOMA International bylaws, for recommendation to the Board of Governors.
Mr. Bennion has served on the BOMA International Nominating Committee for two (2) years and represents the Pacific Northwest Region. The Region consists of BOMA Locals from Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah.
BOMA Utah Board Member and Government Affairs Chairman, Gary Bullock, CPM, Director of Operations for Millrock Management was elected President of the BOMA International Pacific Northwest Region. The President is responsible to oversee and conduct all meetings including coordinating the Region Meeting and directing the Board of Directors which includes members from the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Justin Farnsworth, BOMA Utah’s President-Elect and Vice President of Asset Services for Newmark Grubb ACRES will represent BOMA Utah on BOMA International’s Pacific Northwest Region Board of Directors. Justin will be one of eight Board Members responsible for overseeing the Region’s operations.
Scott Thompson and DiVi Energy was recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy June 25th in Nashville Tennessee on an international stage during the Building Owners and Managers Association ( BOMA International ) annual conference. The recognition is for companies that are making significant contributions in Energy Savings with LED lighting as part of the DOE’s Interior Lighting Campaign.
